Halloween Paper Lanterns

Kids will love making these easy paper lanterns.

It’s easy to create other characters using the same method. Why not try a vampire or monster lantern? Kids are only limited by their imagination.

Quill Coloured Paper in a range of colours

  1. Fold one A4 piece of orange paper in half lengthways. Make cuts on the folded edge, all the way along the length of the fold. Be sure not to cut to the end of the paper.

  2. Cut out triangle eyes, a triangle nose and a mouth in black paper.

  3. Unfold the lantern body and staple the short edges together to form a cylinder.
  4. Attach the eyes, nose and mouth to the orange lantern using glue.
