Halloween Paper Lanterns

Fun with Halloween Paper Lanterns!

Hey kids! Get ready to make some super cool paper lanterns for Halloween. You can even turn them into vampires, monsters, or any spooky character you can think of. Let your imagination run wild!

What You Need:

  • Glue
  • Coloured Paper (We love Quill Coloured Paper for this!)
  • Scissors
  • Stapler

How to Make Your Lantern:

  1. Take an A4 piece of orange paper and fold it in half lengthways.
  2. Make cuts along the folded edge, but don’t cut all the way through. Leave a little bit at the end!
  3. Cut out triangle shapes for eyes and a nose, and don’t forget a mouth, from black paper.
  4. Open up your paper and staple the short ends together to make a cylinder. This is your lantern body!
  5. Glue the eyes, nose, and mouth onto your lantern to give it a spooky face.

And voilà! You’ve made a spooky lantern to light up the night. Try making different characters using different colours and shapes. Have fun crafting!
