Rocket Ship Art Activity
Let’s Build a Rocket Ship!
Hey, little astronauts! Are you ready to make your very own rocket ship? It’s going to be super fun piecing together shapes to see how they fit. You’ll get to cut, glue, and create something amazing. This cool project is also a great way to learn about different shapes and how we can use them in art.
What We Need:
- Big Shiny Squares (These are our rocket bodies!)
- Small Colourful Squares and Triangles (These are for decorating!)
- Glue (To stick our shapes together)
- Scissors (Always ask for help from an adult when we use these)
Let’s Make It:
- Start with your big shiny square. This big square is the body of our rocket!
- Now, grab your small squares and triangles. These will help make our rocket super colourful and bright.
- Think about how you want your rocket to look. What colors will you use? Where will each piece go?
- Glue your shapes onto the big square to make it look like a rocket. You can put the triangles at the top for the tip of the rocket and the small squares along the body for windows or decorations.
- Don’t forget to use your imagination! Every rocket is unique, just like you.
You did it! You’ve made a rocket ship that’s ready to blast off into space. Great job, space explorer!
